IBEX 2019 Flour and Bread Exhibition Report

The Flour and Bread Exhibition was held for the first time in Iran in 2007. Due to the importance of flour and flour products, especially bread, and the high consumption of this product in Iran, attention to this industry is of great importance. The holding of specialized exhibitions and conferences in this field shows the great importance of this product in the household food basket.

This year, as in previous years, the 12th IBEX exhibition was held at the permanent site of Tehran International Exhibitions. The fact that this exhibition coincided with the Sweets and Chocolate Exhibition resulted in better attendance than in previous years.

Due to the great attention consumers pay to the quality of bread, holding such exhibitions can be a suitable platform for communication between different sectors in the flour and bread industry, and this communication and cooperation in different sectors, including production, raw materials, laboratories, research centers and universities, will open everyone’s eyes to the production of quality bread.

Pakfan Company, with a history of nearly half a century, has maintained its relationship with customers through its strong presence in this exhibition in all its editions, and has always tried to make a small contribution to improving the quality of flour and bread in the country by presenting the latest technologies.

Despite the problems of sanctions, both in the past and present, the Pakfan team has not cut off contact with customers in industry and academia. With its continuous presence in domestic and foreign exhibitions and conferences, based on the company’s long-standing policy, it has prioritized supporting customers and communicating effectively with them, and will continue on its path with seriousness despite all the problems ahead.

This year, for the twelfth consecutive year, we were with our dear and loyal customers, along with a technical expert from the German Brabender company.

Given the importance of the quality of food products, especially flour and flour products, especially bread, quality control with modern tools and knowledge is essential and inevitable. Without the diagnostic tools of precise laboratory devices, the manufacturer is forced to produce his product blindly and without consistent quality, and after production in large volumes, check the quality of the final product, and if it is not suitable, a large volume of raw materials, which are very expensive these days, are destroyed. But with very precise laboratory devices, it is possible to even achieve the exact volume of the final product before production. In addition, what the customer wants is the same quality of a product. By using this equipment, the quality of the final product can be kept the same even in the case of very high quality fluctuations in the raw materials.

In recent years, we have witnessed a great deal of attention from industrialists to the importance of laboratories and quality control of manufactured products based on up-to-date technologies, which has been a very positive step towards producing a uniform product with consistent quality.
